From the producers of this year's big hit, Hum Tum, comes Dhoom.

While the Saif Ali Khan-Rani Mukerji starrer was a soft romance, Dhoom is more about speed and bike gangs.

Produced under the Yash Chopra banner and starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Uday Chopra, Esha Deol and Rimii Sen, Dhoom is directed by Sanjay Gadhvi (Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai).

Abhishek, playing Jai Dixit, is the cop on the trail of a bikers gang, led by John's character.

Jai, who has no idea about speed and bikes, asks garage mechanic Ali (Uday Chopra) -- a superpro with bikes -- to help him nab the gang.

Dhoom -- whose music, thanks to Sunidhi Chauhan's fantastic title number, is creating Huge Buzz -- will release on August 27.
