Granduncle Shashi Kapoor arrives for the ceremony. Her other granduncle, Shammi Kapoor, who is recovering from a recent illness, was driven to the wedding through a side entrance. Karisma had a close relationship with her grandfather Raj Kapoor; she spent many happy hours with the movie legend who lavished on her affection and knowledge.
