On the eve of her film Calcutta Mail, directed by Sudhir Mishra and co-starring Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji talks about the film, which also stars Manisha Koirala.

What is special about Calcutta Mail?

I play a Bengali novelist who leads two lives. My character is very lively and interesting. I cannot reveal more.

Actor Saurabh Shukla also plays a Bengali in the film. We are the only two who speak Bengali in the film.

Calcutta Mail has nothing in common with the train. The film is set in Kolkata. The hero (Anil Kapoor) comes to the city on the Calcutta Mail. That's the only connection.
