Did you see me act in front of Prince Charles today? How was it?" he asks, excitedly.

Aamir Khan is happy when you reply, "It was good," saying, "Thank God [laughs]. I performed well today."

Two years after Dil Chahta Hai, Aamir Khan makes his celluloid appearance in Ketan Mehta's The Rising.

The film is of special significance for him because Prince Charles, who is visiting India, sounded the clapboard. Khan says, "It was very good of him to give the mahurat shot. It speaks highly of him."
