Aamir Khan will probably remember November 4 as the day the Prince came calling on his sets!

As part of his visit to India, Charles not only visited political dignitaries and met Mumbai's famed dabbawalas, he also wanted a peek into the world of Hindi films. And what better way to do so than meet the man who took India to the Oscars recently, Aamir Khan.

The prince therefore visited the sets of Khan's newest film, The Rising, directed by Ketan Mehta. The film is about the Mutiny of 1857, when Indians revolted against the British rule.

The film also stars Aishwarya Rai, Rani Mukerji, and British actor Toby Stephens (from Die Another Day).

Prince Charles also gave the mahurat clap for the film.
