This is Ajay Devgan's fourth film with filmmaker Harry Baweja.

The duo earlier worked together in Dilwale, Diljale and Deewane. 'Ajay is a very rare combination -- he is a versatile actor and an extremely nice human being,' says Baweja.

In contrast to his role as the worried husband of a possessed wife (Urmila Matondkar) in Ram Gopal Varma's Bhoot, Devgan plays a headstrong convict in Qayamat.
