Satta tells the story of Anuradha (Raveena Tandon) whose life changes when she falls in love with top politician Mahindra Chauhan (Vallabh Vyas)'s son, Vivek (Sameer Dharmadhikari). The two marry; Anuradha ends up becoming just another submissive housewife.

Fate throws her into politics where she encounters corrupt politicians with selfish motives. Notable among them is the power hungry Yashwant Vardhe (Atul Kulkarni).

Caught in a world where people will stoop to any level to achieve power, Anuradha resolves to cleanse the system.
