Dev Anand. It is simply another name for evergreen. Ever youthful.

The actor has been wooing the audiences right from the late 1940s with his first hit, Ziddi (1948). He thrilled with his performances in Guide, Jewel Thief, Gambler, CID, Hare Krishna Hare Ram and Johnny Mera Naam.

At 80, the actor-filmmaker shows no signs of stopping.

His last film was Love At Times Square. He is hard at work on his next.

Dev Anand will now receive the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award on December 29.
