Kaushik will direct a black comedy based on the true life story of Lal Bihari, a common man from Uttar Pradesh. This film will be a reflection on the poor legal system in India. Bihari, who was proclaimed dead in government records, has been fighting for 18 years in court to prove he is alive!

While some of her upcoming releases include long delayed films like Sangeeth Sivan's Sandhya, Tinnu Anand's Ek Hindustani, Kundan Shah's Ek Se Badkar Ek and Khalid Mohamed's Tareekh, the actress also has a lot of new films in the kitty. Some include J P Dutta's LoC and Madhur Bhandarkar's Aan.

The actress will now debut in a Malayalam film which will be directed by a new director Raghu Damodaran. The male lead will be played by Anil Nath, who hails from London. Nath will also fund the film.

Rahul RawailChristian Dior model Vijeta Sandhu will debut in Rahul Rawail's Jo Bole So Nihaal.

The film also sees the debut of singer Kamaal Khan who will be seen in a negative role. Punjab da puttar Sunny Deol will play the lead.

Kamaal's role was first offered to Mahesh Manjrekar. Rawail had loved Manjrekar's performance in Sanjay Gupta's Kaante so much that he wanted him to act in this film.
