Kishore's son to enter movies?

Director Sanjay Chhel (KhoobsuratKya Dil Ne Kahaa) wants to cast Kishore Kumar and Leena Chandavarkar's son Sumeet as hero in one of his forthcoming films.

Sumeet is yet to give him the nod, but a meeting has been arranged between them this week.

Ilyasi opts for Ashima

Hrishitaa Bhatt (Shararat, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar) was Suhaib Ilyasi's first choice for female lead in his Hrishitaa Bhattdebut film Wanted No 1 (Ilyasi hosted the popular show India's Most Wanted on Zee TV, until he himself became a suspect after his wife allegedly committed suicide by stabbing herself. He is now out on bail.).

The film is based on the life of hitman Shivprakash Shukla. Suhaib, who is also producing and directing the film, will play the title role.

When talks with Hrishitaa failed, Suhaib signed south Indian actress Ashima Bhalla for the role.

Jadeja in Krishna Kumar's film

Former cricketer Ajay Jadeja plays Sushma Sheth's grandson in Pal Pal Dil Ke Saath, produced and directAjay Jadejaed by V Krishna Kumar. Kumar claims Jadeja was very comfortable and natural in front of the camera.

Newcomers Rimpy Gill and Chabi play the female leads. Ajay, an orphan, leaves his grandmother after a tiff. The old lady is surrounded by scheming minds who plan to kill her for her wealth. The film will release in August.

Ajay will also be seen as Suniel Shetty's friend in Khel (also starring Sunny Deol and Celina Jaitley).

Khel is Shetty's home production, co-produced by Galaxy Entertainment and directed by Yusuf Khan.

Saeed Mirza resurfaces

Saeed Mirza, who helmed popular serials like Nukkad, Manoranjan, and Circus and critically acclaimed films like Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyon Aata Hai and Saleem Langde Pe Mat Ro, has resurfaced with Unheard Voices Of India. It is based on a book of the same title written by former civil servant Harsh Mander.
