Raveena Tandon's coquettishness, Akshay Kumar's dynamic personality, a rocking track and some well executed choreography by Chinni Prakash made Mast mast a phenomenal hit. Tandon's enthusiastic belly dancing also earned her the Mast mast girl title .

Shaher ki ladki (Rakshak) Raveena was completely out of the movie circuit after her marriage plans with Akshay Kumar went kaput. That's when Ashok Honda's Shaher ki ladki happened. One special appearance in a song saw Raveena bouncing back with vengeance in her striking glamorous mould. Her trendy look by dress designer Manish Malhotra didn't go unnoticed either. After seeing Raveena's rise with Shaher ki ladki, making special appearances in songs became a trend in Hindi films.

Ore ore--Ziddi IImmediately after Shaher ki ladki, came Guddu Dhanoa's Ziddi. This Sunny Deol starrer didn’t have much except three songs and two scenes for Raveena. Making most of her songs, Raveena's dancing prowess worked like magic as her song Ore ore sung by the husky Shweta Shetty hit bullseye.

Kisi disco mein jaaye--Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan David Dhawan’s Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’s Kisi disco mein jaaye is one of Raveena's favourites too. 'It had totally different dance movements. It was more mood-oriented. It was great working for this song,' she says. Kisi disco was a stylish number performed with perfect synchronisation between Raveena and her costar Govinda.

Yeh raat--Aks Aks was a dark supernatural thriller with Raveena playing a nightclub dancer.
