Spice launches 3G-enable Android smartphone for Rs 5,199

Indian affordable smartphone maker Spice unveiled its low-cost 3G handset Stellar Glide Mi - 438.

The 3G smartphone, tested and approved by Google Labs, comes with a ‘Google Mobile Services (GMS) certification.

Launched at Rs 5,199, the phone comes loaded with features such as ability to make a video call.

The dual SIM smartphone comes with a free flip cover worth Rs 500 and a screen guard.

Under the hood, it features a 1.3 GHz dual core processor, 2 mega-pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera.

The phone come with Android 4.2 out of the box.

The phone packs 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal storage space, which can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card.

The 1350 MAh battery gives a talk-time of around 4.5 hours and up to 170 hours standby

The company has also provided advanced security and anti-theft apps.

The Stellar Glide sports an OGS (One Glass Solution) screen which makes the screen thinner than the usual capacitive touchscreen.

It also offers access to 2GB free storage on Spice Cloud that enables the users to access data on multiple devices.
