As the number of online users grow so does the interest in shopping on internet.

At the beginning of 2013, India had seen 50 per cent growth in total internet user base compared to the year before, according to data from comScore. This rise has made India the fifth largest e-commerce market in terms of visitors to retail categories.

The growing online retail market has become such a lucrative business that global internet giant Amazon, which has concentrated on biggest markets until now, started an India-centric website in June.

Let’s look at the top online retail companies from the 77.1 million, or 7.71 crore, unique visitors that logged on to internet.
