
Saudi Arabia will soon boast of the world’s tallest tower.
At a height of over 1,000 meters and a total construction area of 5.7 million square feet, KingdomTower will be the centerpiece of the KingdomCity development on a 5.3 million square meter site in north Jeddah.

Designed by Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill, the Kingdom Tower will cost $1.2 billion to build, while the cost of the entire KingdomCity project is estimated to be $20 billion.
The project is estimated to completed by 2019.

The tower’s height will be at least 173 meters (568 feet) taller than the world’s current tallest building, Dubai’s 828-meter-tall Burj Khalifa, which was also designed by Adrian Smith.
