Hyderabad Metro rail to start trial run soon

The first metro train that was rolled out from Korea to Hyderabad recently will be put on tracks for test and trials in the next couple of days, according to VB Gadgil, chief executive and managing director of L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail Project.

Gadgil, according to a press release, told a meeting of SKAL International Hyderabad that the three coach train which reached city in the third week of May would be put to test and trail run ahead of its slated inauguration of first phase Nagole to Mettuguda on March 21, 2015.

Replying to questions, Gadgil said L&T was not perturbed about the bifurcation process of the state as, whenever states were bifurcated, all promises and commitments made by previous governments were honoured.
