This supersonic plane can fly from Paris to Tokyo in just 2.5 hours.
The world's first hypersonic passenger jet from EADS will fly these hi-tech planes from London to Sydney in just three-and-a-half-hours.
The eco-friendly plane called ZEHST (Zero Emission Hypersonic Transportation), the jet will be propelled by a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen so its only emission would be water vapour.
While the concept was unveiled at the Paris Air Show, it will become a reality by 2050. It is propelled by biofuel sourced from seaweed.
The plane can zoom to an altitude of 32 kilometres.
EADS in collaboration with Japan plans to build the prototype by 2020. The jet can carry up to 100 passengers.
