Which car is better: Renault Scala or Nissan Sunny?

Renault Scala... though after intrinsic research, many report, writings and road tests etc, familiarity with the car is pretty high.

Yet it took nearly an hour to figure out a starting for this piece of writing because it was pretty difficult to think of one adjective for the Scala that describes it perfectly.

So after a lot of thinking and failure to come up with one single adjective, here is a list instead, describing Renault's upcoming car.

Beautiful, sexy, comfortable, classy, premium, well-mannered and it can go on... well you get the point.

Coming to the next car in discussion, the Nissan Sunny... now if you talk about the brand name "Nissan", it is one of the most efficient carmakers of the present time and develops cars that have premium-ness along with the affinity to be an everyday drive.

This particular model from Nissan is not very different.

Nissan Sunny, the caaaaaaaar; is also good looking, comfortable and delivers a pretty decent performance.

P.S. for Renault Scala, we are yet to know how it deals with the regular day to day scenarios but let's be more welcoming here, shall we?

Agreed, even before its launch there is lot of praise that Scala has received in comparison to its cousin, Sunny, but Renault has managed to give its upcoming, a pinch of more classiness than the older brother, in terms of looks and styling.

In terms of looks, the two cousins have glimpses of each other but after looking at both together, one can make out which is the younger of the two.

Renault Scala has a more premium look to it with a new Pulse-inspired looks with smaller grille, sleek headlamps, chrome strips outlining the windows, and chrome strip connecting the tail lamps etc.

Sunny on the other hand has simpler looks with horizontal air dam, big grille along with stylish tail lamps and a big bumper that makes it look a little bulky.

Now that we have had a chance to glimpse inside both the cars, they are more or less the same with no additional features in Scala except that the top-end variant of the Renault sedan has leather seats.

The sedans are spacious with very roomy rear leg space and seating space.

All premium features like centre arm rest that folds out with 2 bottle holders, high level of comfort, high quality and finish materials etc. are present in both.

Coming to the drivability, handling and responsiveness of the sedans both are nearly the same.

They have really comfortable drive and behave properly as well.

Both the cars, except in terms of looks, are the same.

Nissan gets an edge because it has already established itself in the Indian market whereas, since the break-up with Mahindra, Renault is comparatively new to the market.
