The Nissan Terrano has finally been unveiled. The Terrano is Nissan’s version of the Renault Duster.

Instead of just changing the badges and altering the lights and bumpers, Nissan has done a more comprehensive job which also includes sheet metal changes.

At the front, the Terrano has a completely revised fascia with sharper looking headlights, the traditional Nissan chrome grille in a V-Shape and a honeycomb layout combined with a different looking bumper.

When we view the side profile, there are a few changes visible as well. The immediate ones are the different looking alloy wheels, the blackened door pillars, and the roof rails which do not have the black plastic molding on their ends.

Observe a bit more carefully and you will notice that the Duster’s U-Shaped crease line has given way for an almost straight crease extending through the lower half of the car.

At the rear, the Terrano gets a new bootlid to accommodate the combination lights, part of which are on the bootlid and the other part are on the pillar itself.

The other obvious changes are the ‘Nissan’ and ‘Terrano’ badges and the larger chrome number plate housing.

Inside, Nissan has redone the interiors. An all new steering wheel, rectangular aircon vents with chrome surrounds, a new music system and different looking wood inserts have been placed in the door trims and centre console.

The Terrano will be available in Fire Red, Sterling Grey, Blade Silver, Sapphire Black, Pearl White and Bronze Grey colours.
