Spy shots of the Mercedes Benz SLK have appeared on the Internet and this time they are company-generated.

The car, which according to media reports, is undergoing hot weather tests would be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show next year.

It can then be expected to come to Indian shores soon after its international debut.

The new SLK has a 'Magic Sky Control' roof, which is nothing but a glass-panelled hardtop that can be automatically tinted.

The new feature helps the driver to control the amount of sunlight in the cabin on a very hot day. It is likely that Mercedes might extend this technology to other models eventually.

SLS Roadster

It was rumoured that Mercedes Benz was working on the drop-top version of the SLS roadster and a while back images of these being tested floated on the net to the great delight of all car lovers.

From the images one can make out that there has not been much change in the seats, which look the same, but the door is carved deeper into the sides and the door handles used are no more the pop-out style.

The car has saloon-style door handles and also retains its long hood look.

The Roadster reminds one of the 1954 300 SL and it looks like the company is paying a tribute to the model. Both the SLS AMG and its roadster version will be sold together.
