Maruti Swift

This car has recently undergone an engine change and now it comes with a new K-series engine that is compliant with Bharat IV emission norms.

Maruti Ritz has the same engine and this new 1.2 liter engine is capable of producing 84bhp power, which is 3bhp less than the outgoing 1.3 liter G13B unit. However, the engine performs even better than the old Esteem unit.

Swift has become swifter with the new engine and even at a low rpm of 1500 the car sprints effortlessly beating Ritz in its performance.

The new K-series engine has made driving Swift less taxing by making gear-shifting way better than before. The fuel economy also shows signs of improvement. The car is priced between Rs 3, 99,987 - Rs 5, 36,177 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
