ast week, the Indian Automotive sector saw a 'Dawn of New Era' with the launch of breathtaking Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) Maruti Ertiga.

The fun begins with Rs 589,000 for the base 7-seater petrol model that moves up to Rs 730,000 for the top model.

The diesel variants start from Rs 730,000 and go up to Rs 845,000 (all prices are of ex-showroom, Delhi).

Apart from a tempting price-tag, the car delivers remarkable fuel efficiency.

Mahindra Xylo D2, base version, comes for Rs 747,000 (Maruti Ertiga costs Rs 589,000).

If compared to diesel run LDI, Xylo is nearly Rs 17,000 more. The top end model of Xylo costs Rs 10.47 lakh.
