As with every motor show, the recently held Paris Motor Show too had several interesting concepts displayed by top carmakers of the world.

Among them the most iconic was the concept of the Audi Quattro.

The company is celebrating Quattro's 30th anniversary and that makes the showcasing of the concept all the more special even though there are no immediate plans of launching the car.

The concept showcased by Audi had glimpses of RS5's platform but in a shortened version.

A peek into the new Audi Quattro concept

On the outside the car looks as stylish and chic as any other Audi.

It has a huge rectangular grille, an extra-thick C-pillar highlighting the side profile and the four-ring logo stamped into its metal.

The dashboard, according to media reports, is going to be a slender, floating dashboard accompanied with bucket seats.

But on the outside the Audi Quattro concept's wheelbase is 150mm shorter than the RS5's.

The car's other dimensions are also different like - the roofline is around 40mm lower and the overall length is 4.28m.

A peek into the new Audi Quattro concept

The car has an aluminium body except for the bonnet and rear hatch, which are carbonfiber. The look of the two-seater is impressive.

Under the hood the concept version has a 408bhp unit of the TT RS's twin-turbocharged five-pot.

The car has a six-speed manual gearbox and does the 0-100 kmph in 3.9sec.

Quattro is a full four wheel drive car. The car is elegant to look at and the specifications are an add-on.
