Wipro would provide the application and the IT infrastructure and would be the systems integrator partner for the customer. "We would also do the sustenance services for the customer," said Rajan Sampath, general manager, Data Storage Solutions, Wipro Infotech.

According to Sunny Guptey, vice-president (finance and strategic alliances), Media e2e, the alliance among Wipro, Oracle and Media e2e will address the multi-billion dollar media sector in India and globally.

"We realise that business models for media and entertainment companies are undergoing enormous change that will have a direct bearing on their transactional, analytical and information systems," he added.
