After J&J, FDA puts Wipro on notice

The Maharashtra Food and Drug Adminstration has served a notice to Wipro for allegedly "misbranding and mislabelling" its baby oil.

"We have served notice to Wipro for misbranding and labelling deficiency or mislabelling its baby oil manufactured under the name Wipro Baby Soft about four days back", FDA commissioner A Ramkrishnan said on Wednesday.

Carcinogens in Johnson baby products?

FDA has given the company about two weeks' time to respond to the notice, he added.

The agency had earlier served notices on Johnson & Johnson for allegedly "mislabelling and misbranding" its baby care products.
