Wipro Technologies, the global IT services division of Wipro Ltd, and Mercury Interactive Corporation on Tuesday unveiled the Mercury Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Wipro's Electronic city campus in Bangalore.
"The centre of excellence is designed to provide Wipro customers and quality assurance (QA) professionals with direct access to the latest application testing products and best practices," a joint statement said.
Mercury Interactive Corporation is the global leader in business technology optimisation (BTO). The CoE will provide access and training for Mercury's "industry leading" testing products.
It will assist in enhancing verification and validation services provided by the Wipro Interop Solutions group, which specialises in end-to-end testing services, test automation, certification testing, and test process consulting.
The group now employs more than 2,000 QA professionals who provide testing and quality assurance services to customers in the financial services, retail, utilities, manufacturing, telecom and embedded systems and applications industries, the statement added.
