Trend Micro's Inter Scan Web Security blocks the spyware from entering the network at the gateway and can also block outbound 'phone home' communications containing private information and can initiate a cleanup of impacted clients to eradicate any resident spyware.
Its Micro OfficeScan can block unwanted spyware, adware, remote access tools and hacking tools at the desktop as well.
Trend Micro also offers damage cleanup services to help automate the cleanup of spyware and the restoration of any service of desktop. Administrators can easily customise company's spyware detection and blocking based on their organisational security policies, it said.
