Titan Industries Ltd has launched its international collection of watches in 60 designs in India, which the watch-maker expects would help in garnering an additional 20 per cent of revenues, apart from giving it a foothold in the global markets.

"The watches are styled on international designs and is targetted at the Indian consumer who aspires for the latest in international trends," Bijou Kurien, chief operating officer (watches), Titan Industries, told reporters in Mumbai on Tuesday.

The collection is priced between Rs 2,000 and Rs 7,000, and would be available at Titan showrooms and select stores, like Lifestyle and Shoppers' Stop, he said, adding it is available in both ornamental and functional varieties.

Titan is also planning to sell the designs in the international markets, through its existing channels. The company has around 2,000 stores across 29 countries in the world.

Kurien said Titan expects the launch to add 20 per cent to its revenues as the company foresees a good market for the product in the country. The company had posted a total revenue of Rs 800 crore (Rs 8 billion) in the last fiscal, of which Rs 600 crore (Rs 6 billion) was from retail markets.

It would produce around 40,000 to 50,000 pieces of the new series in this fiscal, which would be rolled out from its Hosur (Karnataka) plant.
