Volkswagen group company Skoda Auto India said on Wednesday that it would launch luxury car 'Superb' and premium sedan 'Laurin & Klement' in March and 'Fabia' would follow suit soon.
The company also aims to post 65 per cent sales growth to 8,000 units this year, Skoda India managing dImran Hassen said in New Delhi.
This year, the company would also launch an automatic version of diesel 'Octavia' and one more variant with 1.8 litre turbo diesel engine, he said.
The 'L&K' would be priced around Rs 13.5 lakh (Rs 1.35 million). The 'L&K' launch would coincide with the introduction of 'Superb', which would cost Rs 23-24 lakh (Rs 2.3 Rs 2.4 million), general manager Bipin Datar (sales and marketing) said.
Asked about the company's plans to introduce the 'Classic' model, he said, "It (the Classic launch) is still under consideration".
Soon after the launch of 'L&K' and 'Superb', the company will also foray into the pre-owned car business, which will be known as 'Skoda 'Signature'.
