US flag and the Statue of LibertyCorporates and policy makers from India and USA would meet in the capital on February 16 and 17 at the Sixth Indo-US Economic Summit to discuss the current economic engagement between the two countries and to strengthen the relationship.

The summit would be organised by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce.

"Besides the regular features like trade and commerce, this year's summit stands out for innovative strategies," summit chairman Lalit Bhasin said at a press conference.

Bhasin added that a panel discussion would also take place on the synergies among India, China, and the US partnership for global development.

About 300 delegates are expected to attend the event.

The Union HRD minister Kapil Sibal, Union minister of new and renewable energy Farooq Abdullah, deputy chief of mission of the US embassy Steven J White and the National Aviation Company of India Ltd chairman Arvind Jadhav among other dignitaries are expected to attend the meet.
