SAP AG is mulling of setting up a subsidiary of TomorrowNow Inc in India.

TomorrowNow is a company floated to help enterprise resource planning customers of PeopleSoft and JD Edwards to SAP platforms.

It is presently functioning from SAP's development facility in Singapore for Asia-Pacific region and from US for the rest of the world.

"We are mulling of setting up a a subsidiary for TomorrowNow in India, to help speeding-up of PeopleSoft and JD Edwards users move over to SAP platforms," Alan Sedghi, South Asia managing director, SAP told Business Standard.

The location is likely to be near SAP's existing facility in Bangalore.

SAP had acquired TomorrowNow in mid-January this year specifically as a 'safe passage program' for (ERP) customers moving over to SAP, without the uncertainties arising out of Oracle Corporation's acquisition of other software companies.

SAP delivers support and maintenance for the current versions of PeopleSoft and JD Edwards solutions, so that the user can plan a migration strategy.

SAP also provides a license upgrade to mySAP ERP, an enterprise management solution, and offers user license for SAP NetWeaver platform, an application platform with proven JDE and PeopleSoft connectors.

Oracle had acquired PeopleSoft in 2004 and the acquistion of J D Edwards was completed in 2003.
