"We not only look after the quality checking at our quality control laboratories but also devote maximum attention about its proper implementation. All equipment at our laboratories are as per the Indian Standard Codes," Asad Ahmad, chief general manager worker, SIHL, told Business Standard.

The company proposes to control, monitor and adhere to quality at every step of the way by quality checks in all the stages of the constructions, including building materials like cement, steel, wood and bricks.

"Quality-control laboratories are just another tool for strict adherence to schedule, budget and workmanship," said Suryavir Singh, spokesperson, SIHL.

Similar quality-control laboratories will be integral part of all Sahara City Homes sites. The company has already set up laboratories at Nagpur, Indore, Gwalior, Coimbatore, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ahmedabad, Aurangabad and Solapur sites.
