RIL, RNRL not to settle issue outside court

January 10, 2009 15:33 IST

The Ambani brothers are not yet ready to bury the hatchet. Legal counsels of both the parties say they are ready to fight it out in the court next week. The case is scheduled to come up for hearing on 12 January.

"We heard that the government has decided that Reliance Industries would provide gas to Reliance Power for its project at Dadri, subject to availability. But our issue is the pricing of the gas and that remains," said Mukul Rohatgi, senior counsel, Reliance Natural Resources.

Anil Ambani owned RNRL had filed an affidavit in the Bombay high court last month challenging the government's price fixing formula.

When contacted, Milind Sathe, senior counsel RIL said: "We are ready with our case and will be going ahead with the same next week."
