June 16, 2004 16:38 IST

Pakistan has not yet taken any decision about granting the Most Favoured Nation status to India, Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali said.

"The issue has not yet come to me. And whatever the decision, we will ensure that it is in the best interest of Pakistan. When the issue comes up I will be able to tell you," Jamali said in an interview to Daily Times when asked about local media reports that the country may soon grant MFN status to India.
