Oracle India Pvt Limited, a subsidiary of leading enterprise software company Oracle Corp of US, has identified the vast small and medium market in the country to boost revenue growth.

Arunava Dutta, director (technology sales), Oracle India, told reporters in Kolkata on Tuesday that the company had tailored its technology solutions to meet the needs of the mid-market segment of the country.

He said that high growth in mid-market companies across industries like textile, retail, pharmaceutical, engineering, auto-components, IT services and financial services would be key drivers for increasing Oracle's revenues in India, which has already emerged as the fifth largest market in terms of sales in the Asia Pacific.

Oracle's solutions for the mid-market segment included Oracle 10g Database Standard Edition, Oracle 10g Database Standard Edition One and Oracle E-business Suite Special Edition among others.

Dutta said that the mid-sized companies would get the benefits of increased productivity and also help them in becoming a part of e-business system by using the same software as their larger counterparts.
