Iomega launches NAS servers in India

December 05, 2002 17:42 IST

Iomega Corporation, a global leader in reliable data storage, has launched its entire range of network attached file servers that deliver breakthrough pricing and performance.

Speaking to newspersons in Bangalore on Thursday, Iomega Pacific Product Manager Wong Chuan Yong said the new product was designed keeping in view the growing storage needs of small and medium sized business and enterprise workgroups.

The new Iomega NAS range delivered high-end features at dramatically lower costs, he explained.

He said the NAS servers delivered smart and sensible storage solutions to the back office and was a natural and complementary extension to Iomega's successful line of storage solutions.

The primary benefit of multi-platform support was the power it gave network managers to consolidate data from platform specific servers across the network onto one easy to maintain device, he added.

Replying to queries, he said the NAS market was rapidly growing in India and the opportunity was very huge.
