Kazakhstan offers oil block to OVL

Kazakhstan will give ONGC Videsh Ltd an oil block in the Caspian Sea.

"We are happy to note that a small beginning has been made in the required direction and Satpaev Block in the Caspian Sea has been identified for joint collaboration," Petroleum Minister Murli Deora said after the two-day Indo-Kazakh joint working group meeting in New Delhi.

Kazakhstan has also offered Indian companies opportunities for building petrochemical and aluminium plants in the country.
