To strengthen its low-end handset portfolio, Motorola said on Friday it has launched two mobile phones priced at Rs 1,099 and Rs 1,299 in the country.

The new handsets -- MOTOYUVA W156 and MOTOYUVA W160 -- offer an internal phonebook of 200 contacts and storage of 80 SMS, the company said in a statement.

The handsets would come with preloaded games, 32 preloaded polyphonic ringtones and other standard alerts, an alarm clock, stop watch, currency converter, calculator, ringtone composer, monthly and weekly calendar with event reminder, auto keypad lock, visiting card receive option, and an office-quality speakerphone, it added.

"We are happy to offer the Indian consumer a wider choice of Motorola entry-level mobile phones with the new MOTOYUVA W156 and MOTOYUVA W160," Motorola Mobile Devices head of India operations Faisal Siddiqui said.
