To help customers identify original Nokia batteries from the counterfeit ones, Nokia has introduced hologram labels with authentication codes in all its new batteries.
The hologram label on the Nokia batteries, with the code and detailed information about the product, would be available in all the new Nokia phone sales packages, battery sales packages and mobile enhancements, a Nokia statement said in New Delhi on Wednesday.
The visual element on the hologram would include Nokia connecting hands symbol, Nokia original enhancements logo and a series of dots around the Nokia original enhancement logo, it said, adding that the users could verify the code either online or through SMS.
