Vandrevala quits Motorola

Motorola Inc on Monday announced the departure of Firdose Vandrevala, chairman, Motorola India and corporate vice president, Motorola Inc, effective July 1, 2007.

Making the announcement, Simon Leung, president, Asia-Pacific, Motorola Inc, said "Firdose is leaving us to pursue other career interests. He has contributed to our strategy, growth, and governance. I commend Firdose for his contribution and wish him success in his new career. Amit Sharma, vice president-strategy, Asia-Pac and regional management, south east Asia, will assume additional responsibility for India in the interim," he added.
