Global human resource outsourcing and consulting major Mercer will spend $50 million over the next three years on its upcoming global operations centre in Noida in partnership with software firm Patni Computers to support global growth in the HR segment.

"HR outsourcing is one of the fastest growing categories globally and Mercer's planned expenditure of $50 million in the new global operations centre reflects its commitment to leverage global resources and maximising growth opportunities in this category, Jeff Miller, president, Mercer HR services said in New Delhi.

Mercer selected Patni as a local partner in India because of its high-end back office and technical support services as well as its similar global footprints, he added.
