Indian markets are being volatile, global economic situation is being grim.
Indian rupee is depreciating and there seems to be no end to the crisis that is looming large over India.
At this juncture, investors are confused, they don't know which stocks to buy, sell and hold.
Retail investors too are looking for meaningful suggestions.
Will mutual funds safe options now?
Market expert Shrikant Chouhan, head of Technical Research, Kotak Securities, replied to many such important investment queries during a chat on rediff.com on Tuesday.

SHRIKANT S CHOUHAN answers, i think 25000 is more than enough if you are investing it on monthly basis. But you can invest in frontline index stocks with long term view into secondary market. and ammount should be atleast same or more than this.
