Pune-based St Laurn group will establish 11 business hotels in Pune, Bangalore, Jaipur, Shirdi and Ahmedabad in two years.

The company has already set up two five-star hotels in Pune and is about to finish the work of a five-star hotel in Ahmedabad and a star resort in the pilgrim town of Shirdi.

St Laurn's second hotel will be launched on Saturday in Hinjewadi, the IT hub in Pune.

St Laurn's Managing Director Lakshman Kariyaa said the group plans to have a strong presence in the western India.

"Around 22 five-star hotels are being planned in Pune by national and multi-national groups. However, the progress of these sites is slow. Interestingly, the last two consecutive five-star hotels in Pune are by St Laurn," Kariyaa added.

"We have plans to set up six hotels in Pune, two in Ahmedabad and one each in Shirdi, Bangalore and Jaipur in two years," he added.
