Leading online recruitment services provider JobsDB.com plans to expand its operations in India by doubling the headcount to 65 people by 2005-end and opening its third full-fledged office in the country at Hyderabad early next year.

JobsDB.Com, which started its Indian operations in 1999 by starting offices in Chennai and Bangalore, also plans to open "skeletal operations" in Mumbai, Delhi and Pune in 2005, R Guhan, country manager, JobsDB.com told PTI in Chennai.

"We believe in regional network supported by local services. JobsDB's extensive network is backed by a local office to meet the individual needs of each country," he said.

The Hong Kong-based company has a network spanning Australia, China, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and the USA.

"We see tremendous potential for online recruitment services in India," Guhan said, adding that the company will also be launching two new services in early-2005.

The JobsDB Dimension will be a ready-to-use e-recruitment solution that allows corporate clients to build and customise a system, which suit their own organisational structure and business requirements. "Job specific resumes and questionnaires can be created to collect precise information from applicants," he said.

With the second product Drake P3 (predictive personality profiling), "you will be able to assess the suitability of candidates to job, making selection an efficient process."

"It is a state-of-the-art technology, empowering managers to hire more effectively by gaining an accelerated insight into jobs and candidates," Guhan said.
