Jhunjhunwala firm buys DB Realty shares worth Rs 11 crore

Ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's Rare Enterprises on Friday acquired 12.50 lakh shares of D B Realty in a deal worth over Rs 11 crore (Rs 110 million) through open market.

As per bulk data available with the stock exchanges, RARE Enterprises purchased 12.50 lakh shares of D B Realty at an average price of Rs 90.21 apiece. This values the transaction at Rs 11.27 crore.

RARE Enterprises is an investment firm set up by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.

In another deal, OHM Enterprises bought 20 lakh scrips of the realty firm. They were bought at an average price of Rs 90.15 per share, valuing the transaction at Rs 18 crore.

Meanwhile, Trinity Capital (Eleven) Ltd offloaded 87.23 lakh shares of D B Realty and the deal was worth Rs 78.81 crore. These scrips were sold at an average price of Rs 90.35 per piece.

Shares of D B Realty climbed nearly 5 per cent to close at Rs 94.05 on the BSE.
