IRCTC opens 1st Jana-Aahar outlet at Nagpur station

Fork and spoonThe Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation on Monday opened its first food outlet Jana-Aahar in the entire western region, at platform number one of the Nagpur Railway Station.

IRCTC group general manager Virendra Singh (Western region) inaugurated the food stall in presence of divisional railway manager, Nagpur division of Central Railway, D K Sharma.

Later, speaking to reporters, Singh said the outlet operated by railway employees will provide snacks and meals at cheaper rates.

Full thali will be for Rs 20, he said, adding meals will be prepared afresh for all the three timing like breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Soon similar outlets will be opened at Agra, Kota, Baroda and Jabalpur, he added.
