Toyota to sell 45,000 Innovas in '05

Toyota Kirloskar Motors plans to sell 45,000 units of its newly launched passenger car 'Innova' in 2005, with 4500 units in the first month itself.

Innova offers the performance of multi-purpose vehicle along with the comfort and luxury of a Sedan, Ino, marketing director, Toyota said after the launch of the vehicle in Hyderabad on Sunday.

"MPV and sedan segments have grown significantly since 1999, primarily due to new model introduction, affluence and affordability.

By bringing the best of sedan and MPV in one car, Innova is a category creator in the Indian automobile market", Ino added.
