Radisson was chosen the winner in the category based on the recommendations and validation conducted by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and the feedback from the travel industry, a company statement said on Friday.
"The award signifies our continuing dedication towards product excellence which will also be reflected in the new Radissons being developed in the region," president and managing director of Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific, Paul Kirwin, said.
The group is aggressively expanding its portfolio in the Asia Pacific region and plans to increase the number of hotels to 58 by 2006 from the present 43 in 11 countries, he added.
