Hexaware to have new NY office

Hexaware Technologies LtdĀ announced on Wednesday a new location for its asset management and capital markets practice at Manhattan, New York.

The new location would be at client proximity center in Manhattan reflecting its growing business and relationships in the financial services industry, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

"Hexaware's New York City client proximity center will provide the company with a strategic advantage, allowing us to be even more responsive and connected to our clients in the Asset Management and Capital Markets space," Hexaware Technologies Founder and Chairman Atul Nishar said.

The company's Manhattan Proximity Center would house its business and practice leaders, including industry subject matter experts and client programme managers, it added.

North America accounts about 70 per cent of Hexaware's revenue and several leading firms of the company's 141 clients are headquartered in New York City.

The company globally employs more than 5000 software professionals, has three offshore development centers in India and one near-shore development center in Bad Homburg, Germany. Shares of the company were trading at Rs 157, up 1.52 per cent at the BSE.
