HCL Technologies Ltd's offshore arm, HCL Great Britain has been named as one of the top information and communication technology (ICT) employers in the United Kingdom by the Corporate Research Foundation.
'Top ICT Employers in the UK' is a new guide, which takes note of the leading employment practices and career opportunities for IT professionals across ICT companies.
HCL Great Britain is ranked alongside leading ICT companies such as Tesco and Nokia, HCL informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Within British shores, HCL owns and operates the Apollo BPO centre in Belfast and a delivery center at Armagh, Northern Ireland (UK), making it the only Indian IT company with local investments in facilities.
"HCL has experienced incredible growth within the UK. Most recently, this has been highlighted by the 600 new jobs created at our Apollo contact centre in Belfast, making us the largest contact center operation in Ireland," HCL corporate vice president and head of European operations Rajeev Sawhney said.
