March 23, 2005 09:49 IST

Chinese home appliances major, Haier, has launched P7 -- a pen phone that comes with a camera and a dictaphone. Priced at Rs 14,940, P7 has a 300-pixel camera, a dictaphone, in-built speakers and a tri-band.

The phone has a 65 K colour screen, privacy firewall and 40 polyphonic ring tones. The set is accompanied with accessories like a car charger, a headset and a neck strap.

Summer styles

Digjam, owned by Birla VXL Ltd, has launched its new range of fine fabric designed for Indian summer. The 'techno finish' fabric comes in four styles -- Fragrance, Sheen 'n Shine, Odour Guard and Fresh 'n Freeze.

As the name suggests, Fragrance, priced at Rs 1,090 to Rs 1,170 a metre, emits a pleasant smell when the fabric is rubbed. Sheen 'n Shine (at Rs 300-600 a metre) is resistant to wear and tear. Odour Guard helps absorb body odour while Freeze 'n Fresh guarantees faster evaporation of sweat.

Jeans with zing

London's jeans brand, Pepe Jeans, has introduced its theme-based Spring-Summer 2005 collection in India. The Beach Babylon range for women comprises sling-tops with twisted or braided straps and skirts with asymmetric hemlines.

For men, the theme is Portobello with denim jackets, sun-burnt coloured jersey and close-fit pants and trousers. The collection is available at Pepe Jeans exclusive stores as well as at Shoppers' Stop, Lifestyle, Westside, Globus and Centre Stage Mall (Noida).
